What do you have to say about Arbaaz Khan directing Dabangg 2?
Yes Arbaaz is directing Dabangg 2 and is doing a very good job with it…we are very happy. He will become a very big director when you will watch the film (jokingly).

Sonakshi Sinha will share screen with you in the sequel. How has she grown as an actress?
Sonakshi is killing in Dabangg 2. In the first picture (Dabangg), she was slightly, you know, nervous and all.

But then she is back with Rowdy Rathore (with Akshay Kunar) and then Dabangg 2…she has gone to a different level altogether. Also she has grown very, very beautiful.

You mentioned Rowdy Rathore. Have you seen the promos?
Sonakshi knows I liked Rowdy Rathore. She showed me the promo of the film twice on the sets of Dabangg 2. I really liked the romantic and action tracks in Rowdy Rathore.

How will Sonakshi’s character be different from Dabangg in the sequel?
Mrs Rajjo Pandey (Sonakshi’s character) can do anything. There is a lot of romance in Dabang 2. She had done a brilliant job…tell this to her when you meet and see how she will blush (laughs).

Your unique dance steps in Dabangg were highly appreciated by the audiences. Will you innovate further in Dabangg 2?
Just wait…itna bhayankar nachunga key sabko bata dunga what is called dancing.

You are considered to be one of the best looking men in Bollywood. How often do you visit spas?
Spa? For the first time I saw what is called a spa when I went to launch my sister-in-law (wife of Sohail Khan) Seema Khan’s Kallista Spa & Salon in Bandra recently.

It will be helpful for our Bollywood ladies like Sonakshi (Sinha) and Katrina (Kaif) that they can easily access a good spa in Bandra now on. And since, it’s Seema’s, they will get good discount as well.

What do you do to release stress?
I don’t need to any stress reliever. Everybody else gets the stress.

Do you three brothers (Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail) spend ‘happy times’ frequently with family and friends?
We have get-togethers every day…without any occasion.

There are numerous fans across the globe who copy all your mannerisms blindly. What makes every move you make click with the audiences?

  I don’t know. I never copied or aped anybody. I never idolized anybody. As an actor, I do appreciate all the love that I get from my fans.

Do you get free time for yourself being tied up with so many things?
Ya, ya. I am always free because I enjoy what I do. I changed my hobby into my profession. I chill in-between shots…listen to music, hang out with friends. I am not into much reading. I only read books when I can’t sleep.

No interview is complete without asking Salman when he is getting married…to which he will say?
…you asked a brand new question.

Okay, let’s put it this way. Katrina said she wants an arranged marriage. Will you support her to find a suitable groom?
Ya, sure. I will get her marriage ‘arranged’ with whoever she wants to.

That’s what we’ve come to. I want to explore the psychology of wife-swapping. How does a man tell his wife to go and sleep with his friend and how does the wife give consent to her husband’s sexual tryst with another woman?
More importantly, how do the husband and wife look at each other in the eye the morning after? These are questions that haunt me. ”

Genelia D’Souza asked to appear before the court in Real Estate fraud case

A few days back, Tirupathaiah had filed a case regarding fraud in the purchase of a duplex house from real estate company Anjaniputra Infrastructure Pvt Ltd (APiPL). Tirupataiah in 2008 had paid Rs. 54 lakh to APiPL for a plot and construction of a duplex house on it at Kalvakolu village in the Maheswaram mandal of Ranga Reddy district but neither construction nor the registration process has commenced as yet.
When Tirupathaiah registered an FIR against directors of the real estate firm, the police left out Genelia D’Souza, who, as the brand ambassador lured customers to the company. Tirupathaiah even claims that in the promotional campaign she had presented herself as one the directors of the company claiming that she had bought plots in the venture.
The Nampally court, on his petition, last month directed Saifabad police to register a case. Now, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has directed actor Genelia D’Souza to appear before it personally or through her lawyer on April 25 to explain why her name should not be included in the first information report (FIR), said Balaji, counsel of the petitioner Chatta Tirupathaiah.

Kareena Kapoor to be seen as queen Arundhati

Kareena Kapoor is definitely going places. After becoming the endorsement queen, she has also bagged in a substantial role as queen Arundhati in the Hindi remake of 2009 Telugu blockbuster Arundhati. Being a strong role in a woman centric flick, many actresses were eyeing for it. The role of the devil who gets killed by the queen will be played by Sonu Sood.
Gemini Film Circuit has acquired the Hindi remake rights of the film.
Speaking about the role, Kareena Kapoor says, “I am excited to do this that had importance for the female character.” Arundhati is an action thriller with a few gory scenes as well. Anushka Shetty excelled in the character of Arundhati which got her Filmfare Best Actress Award of the year, and also won praises galore.
The Telugu version of the film was a grand success and gave new heights to its leading lady’s career. How much the Hindi version will do justice to it and whether Kareena Kapoor looks convincing enough in the role, is a question of Wait and Watch for us.

Producer-director Vikram Bhatt is all set to make a film on the taboo subject of wife- swapping with the bold-and-the-uninhibited Rehana Sultan of this millennium Paoli Dam in the lead.

Vikram who has been researching on wife-swapping has some startling statistics on spouse-swapping.

Says Bhatt, “Why do you say wife-swapping is taboo? You’d be surprised to know how many urban couples indulge in it. It’s prevalent, almost rampant in the big cities. Go on the internet. There are websites devoted to wife-swapping.

Refraining from commenting on Abbas-Mustan’s atrocious film Ajnabee on wife-swapping Vikram says he enjoyed Rajat Kapoor’s Mixed Doubles. “That was a light take on wife-swapping. Mine would be far more dark and probing. ”

Vikram says he has chosen Paoli in the wife-swapping tale because of her lack of selfconsciousness before the camera. “Paoli has the courage to go beyond her body on camera. That’s where I want to go with Love Games. ”

When asked about her sexually-charged roles and how it would impact her image and career in Bollywood Paoli Dam shrugged, “Love Games is another bold film, I agree. Vikram and I are working on my character. Rest assured I won’t be doing what I’m expected to. My character won’t resemble what I played in Hate Story. ”

Refuting reports that her family and her boyfriend in Kolkata are exceedingly upset with her bare-dare act Paoli says, “First of all I am single.

As far as my parents are concerned they don’t react. My Maa Papua Dam is a music teacher. She used to be associated with NGOs in Kolkata.

My father Aman Dam is an entrepreneur. He is a tekker and a photographer by hobby, hence my name Paoli. It’s the name of a mountain peak. My brother Mainak has just completed college. ”

Apparently the entire Dam family is quite cool with the daughter of the family carving a curvaceously unorthodox career route for herself.

As for wife-swapping Vikram says it goes back to our mythology. That doesn’t mean he’s making a mythological film on sharing more than just a hello with your friend’s wife.

Katrina Kaif becomes Sheila once again for Zoya Akhtar

Katrina Kaif took Bollywood by rage with her sizzling number ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’. So, when Zoya Akhtar started her documentary project on 100 years of Bollywood titled ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’, it was but natural for her to rope in Katrina as Sheila for her film.
Since the documentary tells the story of a guy who is a huge fan of the item number and dreams of meeting Sheila in reality, Zoya chose this particular song from ‘Tees Maar Khan’ as she felt it was just perfect to describe the glamour of the industry and the craziness of the fans for films and stars. Also Katrina Kaif shares a wonderful rapport with Zoya Akhtar with whom she developed god bonding during ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.
The film will be shot in Mumbai. The film will borrow some portions of the song from the original and Zoya may also shoot the song again if required.
Confirms Katrina, “Yes, I am part of the documentary.”

Vidya or Priyanka: Who would be a better ‘Parvati’?

Karan Johar is all set to make a film on the adaptation of the famous novel ‘The Immortals Of Meluha’ written by Amish Tripathi and he has zeroed in on Hrithik Roshan to play the lead role of lord Shiva. However, he is yet to finalize the actress for the role of Parvati. While he is interested in Vidya Balan, Hrithik is keen to have Priyanka Chopra on board.
Karan Johar is smitten by Balan’s performance in The Dirty Picture and Kahaani, and if his say holds, this will be the first time Vidya and Hrithik will be seen together. So, when Ekta Kapoor decided to get a sequel done for the flick, she zeroed in on none other than the porn star Sunny Leone, the latest sex rage in our Tinsel town. Bollywood seems to have suited Sunny quite well as even before she finishes the first schedule of her debut Hindi film Jism 2 than she’s signed for the sequel of Ragini MMS.

Ekta Kapoor hints at the fact that the sequel will be a combo of scariness with sensuality and prefers to call her project as a scary date movie for youngsters. Like the original one, the sequel will also be based on a true story, only that the sex and sensuality will be higher.

With many celebrities across the world trying to switch over to vegetarian diet, actress Zarine Khan too wishes to go green but is finding it a difficult task.
“I have been a non-vegetarian since birth, so it is not very easy. Hats off to vegetarian people… I am trying my level best to turn vegetarian,” she said at the launch of the Bhagwat Calendar revealing the fact that she found Kareena Kapoor the sexiest vegetarian.
Talking about her diet and fitness secrets, Zarine said, “I eat whatever I want to in the right quantity and at the right time. If I have a craving for something, I make sure I indulge in it but not too much.”

SRK’s visit to Yale University: Sour beginning with a happy ending!!

It created stirs and ripples of outrage when Bollywood superstar SRK was once again detained at the US airport, this time at a New York airport for two hours on Thursday as he arrived there to visit Yale University. He was honoured at the Yale as a Chubb Fellow, joining a distinguished list which includes former presidents George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter and authors Octavio Paz, Carlos Fuentes, and Toni Morrison.
Later US sent its apologies and gave an excuse that Khan was not “detained”, but “simply delayed”.
State Department spokesperson Mark Toner suggested that to avoid such incidents “travellers can alert – identify their status before they depart via the embassy. And that’s one approach or avenue to take.”
Well, the journey which started with a sour note ended happily as SRK charmed the students of Yale University with his wit and performances and fans travelled from as far as Alabama and California to join with members of the New Haven and Yale community to hear SRK speak to a capacity audience of about 1,700.
Shahrukh Khan not only gave valuable advices to the students but also danced his signature ‘Chammak Challo’ moves with Yale student Natalia Khosla. “This is the most fun I have had in months!” SRK said.
Yale University summarized the entire episode in a light note. “As SRK himself would tell you, what is most important in his movies is how they end rather than how they begin,” Assistant Secretary George Joseph stated adding, “And yesterday, things began in an unfortunate manner, but ended in a way that left everyone happy.”

Priyanka Chopra not yet finalized for ‘Zanjeer’ remake

Gossip columns were abuzz with the rumors that Priyanka Chopra has been finalized for the lead in director Apoorva Lakhia’s remake of the 1973 film ‘Zanjeer’. However, the director puts a rest to these rumors saying, “Priyanka Chopra is not yet confirmed. We have not yet decided on that. However, we are starting the film’s shoot from May 13. The scenes of the lead actor will be shot.”
The movie will see Amit Mehra stepping into the field of production. The lead role played by Amitabh Bachchan will be essayed by southern superstar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja. Lakhia wants Big B to make an appearance in his film and is planning to approach him with the offer.
“I have not approached Mr. Bachchan yet. But I will soon approach him. It would be great if he could show his presence in the film. I would approach him for all obvious reasons. Who does not want to cast Mr. Bachchan in their film,” said Lakhia.

Dorr to cash in Sunny Leone’s growing popularity in India

No sooner did Sunny Leone catapult to popularity by joining the Bhatt camp for her debut in Bollywood with ‘Jism 2’ than the Phillipines-based actor-filmmaker Stegath Dorr decided to cash in her popularity in India by releasing his adult film starring Sunny and Black Shama here.
The film is based on an old-fashioned ghost story about abrasive pro-am bird photographers arousing the vengeful spirit of a medieval Malay witch doctor on sacred land. Sunny plays a Canadian-Sikh professional female photographer Jenny Singh in this film and it has been shot in Cebu, Philippines. However, the reaction of the Indian censor board to some brutal molestation-murder sequences is yet to be seen.
Sunny’s growing popularity in India has also helped the revival of Dorr’s first film with Sunny — Pirates’ Blood which was shot at South star Mohanlal’s studio in Kerala in 2008. Dorr says, “A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by Gulab Premkumar and was requested to return to India to shoot additional scenes for the film in order to re-release it.”

To add spice to this is the fact that the item girl here would be Bipasha Basu who happens to be the ex-girlfriend of one of the main leads in the film, John Abraham. However, John will not be a part of this song.
Shootout at Wadala is based on the real life incident and has a host of stars including John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Sonu Sood, Manoj Bajpai and Tusshar Kapoor.

Sri Lankan beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez, who is currently awaiting the fate of her forthcoming ‘Housefull 2’, has her eyes set on further horizons. Karisma Kapoor is back and how!! With the release of the first look and trailer of her comeback vehicle ‘Dangerous Ishq’, Karisma Kapoor makes you swear by the fact that she has not lost her charisma by an ounce.
The trailer of the flick starts with the theme of the quest of true love:
“Koi tha jo unhe alag karna chahta tha.. Kyun woh yeh janna chahti thi.. Jawaab chupa tha uske kayii jannmon mein.”
Slated for a May 11 release, this Vikram Bhatt thriller in 3D and 2D presents Karisma as Sanjana in search of her love through many lives. Excited about the promo launch, Karisma said, “I don’t know the fate of the movie. We have worked really hard. Making a 3D film is not exactly easy. The promos have come out really exciting.”
The movie also stars Rajneesh Duggal, who plays Karisma’s husband; Jimmy Shergill as a cop and Arya Babbar.

A sneak peak into ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra had sparked rumors about their romantic linkup when they were working together in ‘Kaminey’, but with time the rumors faded. Some guessed that they just broke up. Ex-lovers or not, the two have come together once again for director Kunal Kohli’s ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ and must say they make a wonderful pari together.
Kunal posted a few images from the film on his micro blogging site and tweeted, “Here’s an exclusive still from our film “Teri Meri Kahaani” … 2 more days for the trailer to be launched …”
The film portrays three different time periods between 1910 and 2012 and Shahid Kapoor plays two characters, Javed and Krish. Likewise Priyanka Chopra plays Chandni and Kareena. In a segment set in 1960s, Shahid reportedly plays a struggling music director while Priyanka plays an actress.

Well, the news of Katrina Kaif baggin in Prakash Jha’s next project ‘Satyagrah’ in the role of a politician does not come without controversies. The gossip columns are abuzz with the story that Kaif pipped Kareena Kapoor to grab the role.
Both Katrina and Kareena were in the race for the lead role in the film Satyagrah which is based on the issue of corruption, said to be loosely inspired from the Anna Hazare movement. The movie stars Akshay Kumar in the male lead and he is also co-producing the film.

Katrina Kaif to go de-glam for Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagrah’

Prakash Jha had cast Katrina Kaif in a de-glam avatar in ‘Rajneeti’ and must say that Kaif did justice to her role. Once again, Prakash Jha has roped in Kaif for yet another de-glam role in his next project ‘Satyagrah’ which is based on the subject of anti-corruption. Reports have it that the film draws certain inspiration to the Anna Hazare episode.
The film has Akshay Kumar in the main lead who also happens to be its producer. Rumors are rife that Madhuri Dixit is also doing a role in the film. If everything works out fine, this will be the fifth film that Akshay and Katrina would be doing together after Tees Maar Khan, Singh Is King, Namaste London, and Humko Deewana Kar Gaye in the past.

Imran Zahid is making his debut with Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2’ in the lead role. “I play a narcotics detective in ‘Jism 2′. I am looking forward to starting work on it. There’s excitement and nervousness,” an elated Imran said adding, “As a youngster, I watched (Mahesh) Bhatt saab’s films. I am a small town boy. I am from Bokaro. For me, it’s a big thing to work with someone like him and Pooja, whose ‘Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin’ I watched as a youngster.”
“Jism 2″ is being produced by Pooja Bhatt’s Fish Eye Network and is in news for featuring Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone. Sunny just posted a look of hers in the film. The pic shows her in a lean avatar with high cheek bones in a black outfit which gives a hint of her cleavage.
