Model Poonam Pandey, who once grabbed headlines for stating that she will bare all if Team India wins the World Cup, has finally gone topless.

Her act coincided with team India's victory against Sri Lanka during the ongoing Tri-Series at Hobart.

The 20-year-old started a survey on Twitter asking fans if they would like to see "Poonam Pandey Without Bikini" and she later posted a topless picture of hers on the micro-blogging site.

Sharing the picture, Poonam tweeted: "Finally on Public demand Sharing a pic 'Poonam Pandey without Bikini Tweethearts'. Thanks for loving me so much... Love you all..."

She also warned people below the age of 18 not to take a look at the pic: "Warning18 and under should not try looking up the pic. I do not take responsibility for anyone under age."

Preity shoots in minus 21 degrees

Preity Zinta has wrapped up the first schedule of her debut production "Ishq In Paris" and says it was a pleasure to shoot with the French and Indian crew in temperatures as low as minus 21 degrees Celsius.

"I'd like to thank the French crew for all their effort and hard work and all the wonderful fans who came to the shoot and were so co-operative! Big thank you to Indian crew for shooting in -21 degrees and never complaining. Its amazing how we don't realise our own toughness sometimes! Ting," Preity posted on her Twitter page.

"Ishq In Paris" is an Indo-French production, directed by Prem Soni. The cast and crew were busy shooting in the French capital for the movie, which will see the actress in the role of a half-Indian half-French girl who falls in love in Paris.

Scholes: We may need to win every game

1. Mahie Gill, known for her portrayal of 'bold' characters, has divulged that she is not worried about being typecast in the film industry.
   
   The 36-year-old actress has done films like 'Dev D', 'Not A Love Story' and 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster', in all of which she shed her inhibitions.
   
   "I will not get typecast. I don't think the issue is about revealing; it's about doing particular characters. When you are doing a particular character, for which such scenes are required at a particular point of time, you have to do it," she said.
   
   However, she also said that as an actor it was important for her to be totally convinced about the scene's requirement in the movie.
   
   "I don't work with sleazy directors. I have been working with intelligent directors, who are smart and know their job really well. It's not that all of a sudden a director asks you to do intimate scenes. During a film's making, you yourself feel these scenes are required," she said.
   
   She is currently gearing up for her next film 'Paan Singh Tomar', which will hit the theatres on March 2.

Shoaib rejects Meera's 'proposal claim as 'baseless'

Shoaib Akhtar has denied controversial film star Meera's allegations that the former Pakistan pacer had proposed to her.

The Lollywood star revealed in an interview over the weekend that the 36-year-old bowler had proposed to her, but she had declined the offer as Shoaib had also proposed to her cousin at the same time.

"This is totally baseless," the Daily Times quoted Shoaib as saying.

"Why should I have proposed to her?

"It is not based on facts. It is not true."

Meera had claimed in a national English newspaper that Akhtar did not have a balanced personality.

"Shoaib and I really liked each other. We had an affair two years ago and he proposed to me. Sadly, he also proposed to my cousin at the same time, which reflected that he wasn't a very balanced person," she said.

"I would have loved to marry him had he been stable. It would have been perfect, both of us being celebrities," Meera added.

Meera has also asserted that she had turned down an opportunity to earn Rs.50 million by starring with Akhtar in an Indian Reality Show.

"I was offered Rs.5 crores twice to appear on TV show 'Bigg Boss' with Shoaib. But I refused and so did he. I can't be in a house with B-grade people," she said.

However, 'Rawalpindi Express' has maintained that there was no truth in the statement.

"Just don't give any importance to this. Ignore the baseless statement. Many women dream of marrying me," he added.

Facebook use ‘elevates’ mood

People visit social networking sites like Facebook for reasons including the positive emotional experience they enjoy and want to repeat, a new study has claimed.

Measurements of physical and psychological responses such as breathing rate, brain activation, and pupil dilation, designed to assess a person’s psychophysiological state were collected by researchers from IULM University, Catholic University of Sacro Cuore, in Milan, Italy, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge.

The responses were collected in a group of individuals participating in either a relaxing or stressful task or being online on their own personal Facebook account.

The results of the study revealed a significantly different experience for stress or relaxation exposure compared to the response to Facebook.

The study has been published in Cyberpsychology, Behavior, and Social Networking.

Vijay Mallya ends Ayesha-Siddharth Twitter war with his apology

Social networking sites are taking the celebrity fights and dramas to a higher notch. The latest celebs to fight on Twitter are Ayesha Takia and Mallya prince Siddharth Mallya. Ayesha Takia expressed her allegations towards the Kingfisher staff for misbehaving with her sister Natasha who was supposed to travel by Kingfisher Airlines from Delhi to Mumbai.
Ayesha had tweeted, “My heart is beating so fast with anger that a girl at an airport gets treated this way by airport staff! Vinay Podwal ( KA staff) misbehaved with a passenger and tore her boarding pass. Vinay at Delhi airport, threatened and yelled at my sister saying he can throw anyone out and tore her boarding pass.”
“She is unwell and has a horrible backache, I can’t believe this happened to her rite now! Is this how a girl alone at an airport gets treated by the staff of the airline she is flying?” asks Ayesha.
Reacting to this, son of Vijay Mallya, Siddharth tweeted: “Been getting retweets about Ayesha Takia & KFA. Not too sure who she is, an actor of some sorts?? But it seems something has upset her! Don’t know why Ayesha Takia is tweeting so much when she wasn’t even present. There are always two sides to a story.”
Shocked by Siddharth’s rude comments, Ayesha retorted on the micro-blogging site: “My sis is a normal Indian girl, traveling economy so of course you won’t give a shit, I know the whole story because it happened to my sister. I will rant Siddharth Mallya. This is your way of dealing with a hospitality business! Learn manners and respect.”
“We are going to take serious action against this and go to court with it, let the law handle it, so that this doesn’t happen to any girl again,” says a defiant Ayesha Takia.
However, the senior Mallya brought an end to this ugly episode by apologizing to Natasha for the behavior of the airlines staff. Mallya tweeted, “My personal apologies 2 Natasha Ayesha Takia’s sister if she was disappointed with our service. Will have her allegations fully investigated.”
After reading Mallya’s response Ayesha tweeted, “I appreciate the response and hope the matter is seriously looked into and dealt with.”

Though it is not the first time the girl has given a bold topless photo shoot, yet her hot new shoot has made her fans drooling for more. Glamour world is not new for Nargis. She was quite active in the fashion world in US and had appeared in America’s Next Top Model in 2004. She first went topless for 2009 Kingfisher Calendar.
Born in New York to a Pakistani father and Czech mother, Nargis is now being claimed as the next best thing in Bollywood. Her co-stars and director of her debut flick ‘Rockstar’, too, swear by her acting skills. While Ranbir Kapoor is all praises for Fakhri, Moufid Aziz, who plays her husband in the film, also seems to be smitten by her beauty and talents.
Being paired with Nargis was almost like a blessing, says Moufid, adding, “I’ve done modelling for a few years in places like Germany, Spain, Portugal etc. I’ve also walked the ramp for Sao Paulo, Barcelona and India Mens Fashion week too. Nargis also was a model like me before she joined movies. She may not be very big right now, but she is a really nice person. We had a lot to talk about – our roots, international exposure, modelling at so many places, etc. We also have a lot of common friends from a few countries, people we’ve worked together with. So, it was easy to work with her.”

Co-star accuses Veena Malik of purposely injuring her

eena Malik came into limelight with the controversial show ‘Big Boss’ and she has continued to maintain her share of controversies till date. After appearing nude on the covers of a famous magazine, she is now in news once again for purposely injuring her co-star during a fight sequence for the film ‘Mumbai 125′.
Veena’s co-star Vedita Pratap shares cold vibes with her and she has accused Veena for purposely injuring her on the forehead during a shoot scene. In the scene, Veena had to pull Pratap by the neck and bang her head on an iron rod and Veena did so with a bit too much of ferverity. Vedita had to be nursed at a city hospital and is said to be currently undergoing treatment to get rid of the scar on her forehead.
“It was an action sequence. I was supposed to be beaten up. I don’t know what happened to Veena. She actually hurt me and she did it so badly that I had nail marks on my body.
I don’t know what was wrong with her. And then she pushed me so badly and banged my head on the rod,” said Pratap.
“After the incident, I spoke to the director and told him that she is deliberately doing this. Acting is one thing, but this is just over acting,” she added.

So, finally the much awaited wedding of Bollywood takes places as Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza tie the knot in a traditional Marathi wedding at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Santa Cruz. He tweeted: “saw the Last sunset as a Bachelor.”
Apart from father Vilasrao Deshmukh, other politicians in the guest list included names like the state Congress chief Kripashankar Singh, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chauhan and Aditya Thackeray, son of Shiva Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray.
